I just received my membership in the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. This is probably just exciting news for myself, but I had to share. So, a few more images from the last wedding. I am playing with the collaging ideas for layout. Any ideas or suggestions that you may have about these I would love to hear.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, "I'm not a wedding photographer." But, that doesnt mean that I won't go out and do the occasional wedding, just for something new and different. This time I shot it with a partner, and things were terrific. Carol, from CMPhoto Art, here in Calgary joined me on this shoot. She had some terrific ideas, and it was wonderful to just have someone else there who was thinking about the same things I was. We were able to be flies on the wall and observe the festivities. B & C had a fantastic wedding, they really could not have had a better day as far as weather was concerned. They choose a simple venue, but the most amazing wedding food I have ever had, nice and basic yet soooo delicious. It's all about the food.
They were a very easy going couple and totally willing to do anything we asked them to do for poses etc. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding!!! I love it when things go so well. So, here are a few sneak peeks at my shots. To see what Carol did, take a look at CMPHOTOART.com and head over to her blog. |
