This gal is such a terrific model. I used to be her roommate when we went to University together. It was so great to see her again and have the opportunity to work with her and show her how amazingly beautiful she is.
The holidays have come and gone.. Seems like I seem to have forgotten about posting on the blog over the holidays. So, if you missed anything on Facebook, here are a few shots that were sent out for Christmas cards.
Some of my favorite kids to work with. A ton of fun and so stunning. I have been watching these girls grow up and their little brother finally came out of his shell this session and gave me some terrific poses, but they were definitely on his terms. Ok, I have been doing alot since November, somehow it just has not been making it to the blog. That's the problem when you are your own boss, sometimes you let things like the blog get put to the bottom of the list. So, here are a few updates. Not all of it, but a brief overview. Let's start with the big news, I made the plunge and invested in some large studio lights. Let me just qualify that by saying that my speedlights have been very, very good, but I just had to see what sort of difference I could get with some studio lights... I have to say, I love the CONTROL!! The first few shots are all with those new lights. I will get over my love affair with them fairly soon, but in the meantime, its a great honeymoon. Chanelling the Inner Justin Bieber Simple, clean headshot. Having some fun. Another gorgeous model. I just loved this couple, and the emotion in this image is just so powerful. This has to be one of the most loving husbands I have ever met, and it shows. Something different. But she is just such a beautiful woman. I love the eyelashes. The future grandmothers crocheted and knitted all sorts of goodies for baby, I couldn't resist one of these shots, no matter how many times I have seen this one done before. Look at the beautiful skin on that belly. Lucky Woman. Was blessed to be part of the Kidney Foundation's Kidney March kickoff event this year. Even though the weather was atrocious, the turn-out was wonderful, the stories were amazing and the night was unforgettable. IF you do not know about the kidney foundation and what they are raising awareness for, please do a little googling and educate yourself, it is a cause worth supporting.
A decided she needed a few headshots for work. So we got down to business and captured some terrific business shots for her.
