I hate to say this, but fall is just a few weeks around the corner. If you are looking to have those beautiful golds, and oranges for a portrait, NOW is the time to book yourself a session.
Mini-sessions of 45 minutes are available for groups of 4 or less. Regular sessions are also available for any size group. Weekends are definitely going to go fast, so if you are thinking about it. Stop thinking, and start doing. Three Gorgeous Mommas this week all ready for their little ones to arrive soon. This weekend was full of families for me as well as the wedding. My first family session was three little sweeties all under the age of 12. All these angels were absolutely stunning to look at and even willing participants in our photo session. They required very little coaxing from me or their parents. I love it when that happens. The eyes on her are just amazing This big brother was just so patient with his little sisters. I asked her to get a little sassy with me. Such a cute little smile My second family of the day were much older but you could just feel how close they were and how much they really enjoyed being with each other and how much they loved each other. We were all laughing and enjoying ourselves for nearly two hours. It was just my day. I love days like that. Capturing something a little funky and edgy with them. She looks like she could be the next singing sensation. (never asked her to sing, so I can't say for sure) But I certainly can picture her with a guitar up on stage. They were more than happy to be together and spend time with each other. I just wanted to take them home with me. Happy family.
One final note. We were in Fish Creek Park and ran into a couple who just got engaged at dinner and were out for a walk. I captured a picture of them to celebrate the moment. I really would like to get it to them, but I didnt get their info. Out of respect for them, I won't post it on the blog, but in the off chance you might know of someone who just got engaged at the Ranche on Sunday night, tell them to contact me for their picture. There is a first time for everything. This weekend I was given the opportunity to be second shooter for a wedding in Canmore. It was absolutely amazing. The photographer who asked me to join her was Carla Pysh of Pysh Posh Photography. She does very lovely work, and it was terrific to get the chance to work with someone new and different. Whenever I have the chance I love to go out and see how other photographers shoot and how they interact with clients. There is always something new to learn. I greatly appreciate the chance I was given as well as some of the most amazing wedding shots I was able to capture for my own portfolio. This was just a dream wedding with incredible lighting, beautiful guests at a marvelous venue. What a fantastic combination. To start with, the bride had an absolutely gorgeous dress. Very classic shoes. She could have been a model herself. Amazing decorating. Again, the dress. Very cool location. Have I mentioned that the groom was pretty handsome as well? Stunning Bride
