This is such an incredible wedding. I was absolutely overwhelmed with all the colour and detail available. There was, as I have mentioned before, incredible food as well. The couple had themed their wedding around fine art, and even had the cake inspired by Van Gogh's 'Starry Night'... So fun!! This wedding was shot in collaboration with Edward Ross Photography
I love weddings. I think I may have said this before, but I just love looking at these shots following the wedding and I always fall in love with the couple, all over again. (I could love them for the awesome food too. I have never been to a wedding that hasnt had incredible food.) But honestly, the brides and grooms never disappoint. This wedding was shot in conjunction with Edward Ross Photography
Say hello to the S. family. IF you recall, I did a post called BABY LOVE. That was their new son. They were so excited for those portraits that we decided to do a second shoot outdoors when the weather was gorgeous.
When we went outdoors, their little girl came to life. She was so excited to see the ducks and geese at the pond. So adorable. This year has been so busy for me that I have not had the chance to catch up on the blog.
But here goes the first of a few posts to get me caught up. This is the G. family. They are huge fun. I love mom's choices for outfits. Not to mention the cutest little girl. It was such a fun shoot because they had some specific ideas about what they wanted to do. The most fun had to be when we went to the harley shop and posed with Daddy's Harley. Weddings are absolutely fantastic, and I love it when I come across a groom with such amazing style. The white tuxedo was so striking, I couldnt stop getting great shots of him. Not to mention he was a man of details, right down to the Louis Vuitton cuff Links. WOW! Of course the LOVELY bride was no slouch either. She had the traditional Chinese red silk dress for the tea ceremonies. Hair pieces to match. And then a GORGEOUS white gown for the wedding ceremony, with an entirely new hair-do. AMAZING stuff!! This has to be one adorable family. And the kids are incredibly charming. I love it when I can get little ones to co-operate for some lovely shots, and these kids were so in the mood. Gorgeous, both of them.
(click on the images to view them enlarged.) This is J & B's wedding. They have to be the most FUN and creative couple that I have worked with to date. They knew how to throw a party for all their friends and keep all the wedding stress down to a minimum. Their wedding was just like they are, fun when it needed to be and serious only when it was truly appropriate. I absolutely adored spending the day with them. But, I never would have been able to really capture all the great stuff I got without my assistant Claudia. This little man could not be any more adorable if he tried. He was such a content and happy baby. He is so lucky to have a super creative mom who came up with some really unique ideas for this shoot.
I love helping clients bring their ideas to life. The Jelly beans were actually saved from his Mom & Dad's wedding nearly ten years ago. What a very special image for them to have. This will be by far, the longest, most picture filled blog post I have ever done, only because this was the longest job I have ever been on. I spent the better part of three days with this amazing couple, and was allowed the privilege of learning a small part of their stories and their love for each other. By the end of the three days, I had fallen in love with them, and I cannot wait to see what will happen in their lives. I had the good fortune to give them a whirlwind tour of the city while at the same time being their photographer. Had the weather co-operated, we would have traveled more outdoors, but none of us really wanted to brave the snow and rain. Yes, they are soo in LOVE.. I absolutely adored spending time with them. It was relaxed, fun and full of LOVE... Ok, and it was really, really hard to pick just a few pictures from each thing that we did... so, yes, there are way, way, way too many pics up here.. but I do hope you enjoy. |
